The construction work of the 28-floor high Norodom Business Tower, situated on Preah Norodom Boulevard in Phnom Penh, began yesterday with a groundbreaking ceremony attended by top officials of TP Moral Group (TPMG) and a galaxy of invited to improve the living quality for wider community with ranges of amenities provided.

The tower, strategically located at the centre of Phnom Penh’s commercial, economic, political and diplomatic hub, is expected to be completed in 30 months. Once completed, the iconic tower will be a prominent building for TPMG, a premier property builder in the Kingdom, and also a landmark for the bustling capital city of Cambodia.

In his welcoming remarks at the ceremony, TPMG Chairman Khun Ty said the tower will have four levels of underground parking and a total of 28 floors of which 10 floors will host Grade A Serviced Offices with modern and natural designs.

Significantly, 16 floors will host the Pan Pacific 5-star hotel, providing luxurious accommodation, an exquisite restaurant, leisure facilities, a rooftop bar and a pool with picturesque views of the city and the riverside.

“Norodom Business Tower will become a new iconic landmark and will also be a great contribution to the efforts of the Royal Government of Cambodia to develop Phnom Penh as a modern city,” Ty said.

“As we break ground on the Norodom Business Tower project, we are embarking on a new chapter in our company’s history. The project will provide us with new opportunities to grow TPMG and also to develop its real estate portfolio for national interest under the wise leadership and long-term vision of our Prime Minister,” the Chairman said.

According to him, the construction of the Norodom Business Tower will not only create future jobs and stimulate the economy, but it will also provide the people of Cambodia, expats, and visitors with a new space to gather, learn and connect with one another.

“It will be a place that we can all be proud of, a place that will serve as a commercial hub for businesses, tourism and leisure – an icon of Cambodia’s economic progress,” Ty said.

The Chairman went on to express his gratitude to everyone involved in the project from its conception. “We would not be here today without the tireless efforts of our talented staff, architects, engineers, and consultants who have worked hard for this project,” he said.

Ty expressed gratitude to the project’s partner, Pan Pacific as well as the main contractor, MCC, besides Aedas, the leading international Architectural Design Company, Meinhardt, Technical Advisor on Structure and MEP, Bkasia, QS Consultant, Atelier, Project management Consultant, EcoID, Interior Design Company, and Arup, acoustic consultant.

“All of them are actively involved in this project since its conceptual stage,” Ty said.
